WELCOME TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!
As the opening pyro ends, the show starts with John Laurinaitis in the middle of the ring with a microphone.
Johnny Ace: Hello everyone, and welcome to Monday Night Raw. My name, is Mr. John Laurinaitis. I am the Executive Vice PResident of Talent Relations and the General Manager of Monday Night Raw and tonight I have a great show for you all here in the great city of Atlanta, Georgia!
Big Johnny gives out one of his classic smiles! The crowd gives a 50-50 reaction. In the front row you can see Sinister in his home state wearing a Money Riff t-shirt.
Now last week we found the first person to join wCw champion John Cena in the RAW Elimination Chamber in an exciting match. The winner of the match was one of my newest talent acquisitions Sting!
The capacity crowd pops at the sound of Sting’s name.
Tonight, we will determine two more lucky competitors that will compete in the brutal and barbaric structure on February the 17th.
The first match will be Alberto Del Rio versus Damien Sandow, and it will be an ATL Street Fight!
The crowd cheers as Big Johnny has done it again!
The second qualifying match will be the face of RAW and my good friend Intercontinental Champion Heath Slater
The crowd boos as the savior of wCw is mentioned.
Going one on one with The Blueprint Matt Morgan!
A frantic Heath Slater runs to the ring with a microphone
Heath Slater: No no no no no! Johnny please! You can’t do this! Matt Morgan will kill me! Have you seen that guy!? He could lift my tour bus above his head alright?!
Johnny: Now Heath there is no need to be dramatic. I am completely confident that you can beat Matt Morgan. In fact, while you’re out here, we might as well start this match right now!
Elimination Chamber Qualifier Intercontinental Champion and Age One Icon Heath Slater vs. Matt Morgan
Normal Match Despite Heath Slater's pleas, John Laurinaitis has booked an exciting first match for tonight's RAW. Heath Slater will get a shot to be in the Elimination Chamber. All he has to do is defeat the man who is undefeated in singles competition. Matt Morgan has had a great start here in wCw but not much to show for it. He has yet to receive a real shot at one of RAW's prestigious prizes, the Championship Titles. Tonight The Blueprint will have to take a break from tag action in order to have the opportunity to compete in the Elimination Chamber. Slater won't go down without a fight though and it should be quite the match!
Match Two Christian vs. Bully Ray
Cage Match Two careers that haven't had a stellar start. Christian has yet to win a match here on RAW and it seems like it's starting to show. The resident prankster hasn't said much after losing to Southern Playboy Heath Slater. Maybe tapping into his serious side is exactly what he needs in order to defeat Bully Ray. Bully may have lost his debut match against Kevin Steen, but the train continues to roll and he is more determined that ever to hurt somebody. One of these men will receive their first win. But who will it be?!
Heath Slater's Intercontinental Contender Challenge Val Venis vs. Roman Reigns
Normal Match Slater's quest to find a worthy competitor for his title has proven to be futile so far. Nobody has been able to beat his best friend Val Venis in a one on one match. In fact Val Venis has become the Number One Contender after winning so many matches. Certainly Venis has no interest in taking Slater's gold...or does he? Nonetheless Venis takes on Roman Reigns who recently lost out on a chance to be in the Chamber match in two weeks. While the wCw title is now out of his reach, maybe the IC title is something Roman could see around his waist.
Match Four Kassius Ohno vs. Kevin Steen
Knockout Match Johnny Ace is furious that Kassius Ohno was not able to destroy John Cena. With Johnny's bloodlust continuing to rage on, he is sending his "personal assassin" Kassius Ohno on a quest to knock out former Biggest Loser reality contestant Kevin Steen. Steen made an impressive debut last week when he put Bully Ray through a table. Let's see if the win was just a fluke or if Steen has what it takes to be a big name here on RAW by taking out the Royal Rumble Winner.
Match Five Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Nash vs. Sting
Triple Threat Elimination Nash had a great showing at the Royal Rumble being the last man eliminated. There is no doubt that he wants to be included in the Chamber match and tonight he will prove that he can hang with the big boys as he takes on former wCw Champion and mime Chris Jericho and Sting who is the first qualifier in the Elimination Chamber in a triple threat elimination match. What kind of strategies will form here? Will alliances be created or will every man fend for themselves?
Match Six John Cena vs. The Undertaker
Normal Match wCw champion John Cena was a little bitch last week and ducked his matched against Kassius Ohno out of fear that he might lose. Tonight he goes one on one with The Deadman and one can only hope that Taker buries Cena into the ground.
Main Event
Alberto Del Rio vs. Damien Sandow
Atlanta Street Fight (Extreme Rules Match) Johnny: RAW's main event tonight will determine the fourth member of the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Now last week Alberto Del Rio and his slave Ricardo Rodriguez were attacked backstage by Damien Sandow. I was sending a text at the time so as General Manager I wasn't able to difuse the situation in time. But tonight, Del Rio get's a shot at revenge and a much larger opportunity in the future.
Michael Cole: So that’s our show everyone! Thanks for watching and we will see you next week!
