WELCOME TO THE FIRST RAW OF 2013! Like a Star @ heaven

Michael Cole: Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to the first Monday Night RAW of 2013! Can you feel the ground shaking? Is that cup of water from Jurassic Park beginning to move? It can only mean one thing...The Royal Rumble is getting closer! Yes, just two weeks away is one of our biggest pay-per-views of the year and both the superstars and the wCw Universe are more excited than ever. We have some great action here tonight and a main event you won’t want to miss. So sit back and relax as we start with our first match of the evening.

Match One
Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio

Normal Match
Christian’s attitude has gone from sour to silly. He destoryed Michael Cole’s car and vowed to be the next IC Champ. Now he is about to pay the price as Heath Slater sends an angry Alberto Del Rio at him. Del Rio is furious after losing in his title match against Chris Jericho last week on RAW. He wants to release some steam and tonight, he has the perfect opportunity.

Match Two
Kassius Ohno vs. Kevin Nash

No Disqualification Match
While Ohno may be the new kid in town, he certainly isn’t acting like it. Ohno’s first test will be against Kevin Nash who has been on a losing streak as of late. After dominating the first few weeks of Age Two, Nash’s slump hasn’t been helping his state of mind. He continues to get more angry as weeks go by. Will he eventually turn green and gain super strength? One thing's for sure, he isn’t going to make Ohno’s first match an easy victory. If Ohno can pull this off he will surely earn the respect of the locker room., if he even wants it that is.

Match Three
Brock Lesnar vs. Santino Marella

Normal Match
Brock Lesnar shocked the wCw Universe when he made the switch to RAW. He wants Cena’s blood but will not be able to get a taste until the Royal Rumble. Tonight Johnny Ace has decided to unleash the Next Big Thing on Santino Marella who has just been cleared to compete after an injury. Will the Milan Miracle be able to overcome the odds, or will he be sent a one way ticket back to the hospital?

Match Four
Val Venis w/ Heath Slater (c.) vs. Bret Hart

Normal Match w/ Manager
Slater believes he runs RAW now. With a close relationship with GM John Laurinaitis, he has set up a little contest: If you can beat his best buddy Val Venis, you get a title shot. The first contestant? Bret “The Hitman” Hart. Not exactly who Slater had in mind. Will Bret be able to pull out a win without his infamous Sharpshooter? Or will Val continue his winning streak and save his buddy from a potential catastrophe?

Match Five
Rikishi vs. Shane McMahon vs. John Bradshaw Layfield

Elimination Triple Threat
A random triple threat you say?! This is anything but! The winner of this match will receive 10 additional superstar points to their collection! Will Rikishi use them to save for another title shot? Will a newly debuting Shane McMahon make a name for himself? Or will a rarely seen JBL stand tall and remind the wCw Universe why he is a “Wrestling GOOODD”!? With the Royal Rumble at our doorstep, having momentum is crucial to these superstar’s success.

Main Event

John Cena and Alex Shelley vs. Chris Jericho (c.) and Kane (c.)

Normal Tag Match
Our main event for tonight’s first RAW of 2013 is a big one! Alex Shelley has won a wCw title shot at the Royal Rumble and couldn’t be more excited. Tonight, Chris Jericho gets a taste of his competition in this tag match. Each man gets an all star partner in this match as Shelley teams with main eventer John Cena. Cena didn’t compete last week but is still on a roll after winning his last few matches. Although he hasn’t said much, Cena fully intends on staying in Jericho’s life until he wins his precious gold. Jericho gets a...different kind of partner as Smackdown’s own WWE Champion Kane pays a visit to help his fellow champion. Who will come out on top in this match with the Rumble getting closer and closer?
