WELCOME TO THE LAST RAW OF 2012!
Michael Cole: Welcome everyone to Monday Night RAW! Happy New Year’s Eve everybody, I’m Michael Cole alongside my broadcast partner Hall of Famer Jerry the King Lawler, and boy do we have a show for you tonight!
Jerry Lawler: You said it Cole. The Viper Randy Orton returns!
Micael Cole: Yes, Randy Orton returns after a suspension and I can’t imagine that he is in a good mood. Well this should be a big RAW tonight as Heath Slater defends his Intercontinental title for the first time tonight. We will also get to see Christian Cage look for revenge after being ganged up on in the Elimination Chamber match from Christmas Chaos last week. It’s exciting action that you won’t want to miss!
Match One Intercontinental Title Match Heath Slater (c.) vs. Rikishi (paid)
Normal Match Rikishi wanted an Intercontinental Title match, and tonight he is going to get one. With a new attitude and a massive Samoan Christmas dinner in his belly, Rikishi is more dangerous than ever. While Heath Slater has been enjoying his ride as champion, he must face the daunting task of defending it for the first time. Who will we see enter 2013 as champion? The One Man Band or the Bad, Bad Man?
Match Two Alex Shelley vs. Kevin Nash
Normal Match 15 Minute Time Limit There is no doubt Alex Shelley has made an impact in wCw. He shocked the world when he defeated former wCw champion CM Punk, and wants to prove he can be taken seriously. Veteran Kevin Nash thinks differently. Nash is insulted that he isn’t champion by now, and getting screwed by Brodus Clay in his title match weeks ago only adds to the fire. Nash wants to show the wCw universe just how lethal he really is. If Nash can beat the rookie quickly it will prove once more that he is the man he says he is. Or will Shelley surprise us once more by taking down Big Daddy Cool?
Match Three Christian Cage vs. Cactus Jack
Cage Match Last week’s Elimination Chamber match at Christmas Chaos was nothing short of controversial. Although we saw a winner in Alberto Del Rio, many feel like Christian Cage was cheated from a victory by being ganged up on in a three on one assault until he was eliminated. Tonight Christian gets a shot at redemption as he takes on one of the men that stole his final three spot: Cactus Jack. Cactus Jack performed well in the match, earning himself a shot at the Intercontinental Title at the Royal Rumble. If you remember Anarchy however, Christian Cage won the fatal fourway match for a IC title match at the Rumble as well. The plot thickens! Well tonight these two will go one on one and there is no place for Cactus to hide inside the steel cage. But knowing Jack, I doubt he wants to.

Match Four Val Venis w/. Manager vs. Billy Gunn
Normal Match Things are about to get uncomfortably sexual. As his prize in the Chaos Chamber match, Val Venis was given his choice of a manager from our lovely list of Divas. Tonight he will reveal who he has chosen, and knowing Venis, this diva is guaranteed to be a sexy lady. This has to serve as a distraction for The Ass Man Billy Gunn who will need to focus if he wants to win. How will these two wrestle when they both have boners in their trunks? Will the Master of the Money Shot show off his Big Package tonight? Or will The Ass Man give Venis a taste of his One and Only? One thing's for certain: please cover your children’s eyes for the duration of this match.
Match Five John Cena vs. Randy Orton
Normal Match The Viper is back and boy is he hungry! After being put out of action due to yet another Wellness violation, Randy Orton is back and ready to compete in hopes to reclaim his gold. Tonight we see a rematch from the first week of Age Two as he goes one on one against John Cena. Cena’s title dreams have been nightmares as of late as he has yet to get a win over the champion. He has been on a hot streak these past few weeks however, with wins over Rikishi and Alberto Del Rio. It won’t be long before he gets another shot at Y2J’s precious title; but first he must take down his long time rival in what will be another amazing match. They both hear voices in their heads. Orton’s telling him to hurt people, while Cena’s tell him that he is a gangster and a marine. Who will win this huge New Year’s Eve contest!?
Main Event wCw Championship Match Chris Jericho (c.) vs. Alberto Del Rio
Normal Match This is gonna be good! With a hard fought win in the Chaos Chamber match last week, The Mexican Aristocrat has earned himself a title match tonight on RAW. Del Rio has found great success on RAW after acquiring his most dangerous weapon, the Cross Arm Breaker. Jericho has submission weapons of his own however and is not afraid to use them on his newest challenger. Chris Jericho has big plans for wCw and fully intends on staying champion throughout 2013, but hard work and determination will only take you so far, and Alberto Del Rio plans to prove it with a win tonight, that money really can take you to the top of the world. Will year 2013 be Y2J, or will a new emperor arise? It’s our last match of 2012 and you won’t want to miss it!

[As RAW returns from a commercial, a familiar theme begins to play]
[Christian Cage appears from the curtain to a large mixed reaction. Although fans might not like his attitude, they almost sympathize with how he was taken out of the Christmas Chaos Elimination Chamber. Christian scans the capacity crowd then smirks as he lays his eyes on the steel cage surrounding the ring in front of him. He begins to walk toward it]
Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is a steel cage match! The only way to win is by escaping the cage. Our first competitor, from Toronto-Ontario Canada weighing in at 212 pounds, Christian Cage!
[Christian walks up the steel steps and enters the ring. He slaps his chest as his fans cheer. His theme fades, and the arena awaits in anticipation for Cactus Jack.
[The crowd lets off a massive cheer of shock as the beloved chairman, Vince McMahon's theme starts to play. Vince walks out with a microphone and waves to the fans.]
Michael Cole: What?! Vince McMahon, what's he doing here?
Jerry Lawler: I don't know Michael, but it looks like he has something important to say.
[As Vince's theme fades, he begins to address the crowd]
Vince McMahon: WEEELLLCOME TO MONDAY NIGHT RRRRAAAAWWWW!
[The fans cheer!]
McMahon: Now theres been a lot of confusion with our general managers over the past few weeks. John Laurinaitis has been gone on vacation, and last week Eric Bischoff was GM in his stead. Rest assured, Mr. Laurinaitis will make his return eventually, but for now, I will be inverting at RAW when I see fit.
McMahon: Now Christian, the reason I am out here is to inform you and the wCw that unfortunatley, Mick Foley cannot compete tonight or for many nights from here on out. He has been informed of a family emergency and has taken some time off to be home with his wife and kids. Now that doesn't get you off the hook Christian as I have found you a new competitor. Now this man really revs my engine. He's just so SSSSTRRRONNNNGG and MASSIVE! He's... why he's a MMMMMAAAAASSTTAADONNN!
[The crowd explodes at the sound of Vader's theme. Vader appears from the curtain. looking ready to destroy. Christian's smirk disappears as he realizes that he will be trapped with Vader inside a steel cage. This wasn't what he asked for. Vader storms up the steel steps and walks into the ring. He pulls on the steel cage wall and looks Christian in the eye...]
Christian's match with Foley has been changed. It is now Christian vs. Vader in a steel cage match. This match, along with the others on the card will have an extended deadline due to the holidays.
