The foreboding

The lights in the arena dim as the crowd hushes. The titantron lights up with a night sky. It seems to be scrolling due to stars moving on the screen. Then, from the hush, comes a voice.

"WCW has fallen from a once great perch. For this to be redeemed, we need a savior. One who will rise up and take the reigns here on RAW to a new found glory. A new found hope. Even the darkest of souls could save us now. And in this hope, a once great promise will need to be broken. One that will strike fear into the heart of the evil here in WCW along with the good. For no man has walked into WCW at this caliber nor will one ever again do so. The Royal Rumble holds within it one single man who will lead us. The one who will save us. The Royal Rumble. Judment Day for the true savior to make his presence known."

As the voice ends the video of the night flashes with a strike of lighting and then a face over takes the screen for only a second causing people at home to stop, pause, and rewind multiple times to get just the right timing on who is their supposed savior. Then, the lights go back to normal and the crowd slowly comes out of a hushed state as the commentators go on about the main event of the evening.
