wCw 2013 Royal Rumble Information!

Alright wCw, the Royal Rumble is upon us! That's right on January 20th, we will begin Royal Rumble week.

There is much to do to prepare so we are going to start right now!

So for those that have been wondering how the Rumble is going to work, here is the scoop. With about 20 members in wCw, we will be having a series of 4-Man, Over the Top Rope Battle Royals. The winners of these Battle Royals will then face off in a final Battle Royal to determine the winner of the 2013 Royal Rumble. The reason we are going for smaller 4-Mans is to increase the likelihood that these matches will actually get done.

The winner of the Rumble will then get to choose which title he wants to compete for at Wrestlemania II. If the member chooses to go after a title on the opposite brand, their characters will simply swap brands.

For example: when Heath Slater (RAW) wins the Rumble and chooses to go after the WWE Title (Smackdown), Heath Slater will then be drafted to Smackdown, and Critic's other character, Shawn Michaels, will go to RAW.


Now, here is the interesting and difficult choice everybody will have to make. Only one of your characters can enter the Rumble. Having both of your characters enter the Rumble would not work due to the fact that, if say Slater and HBK both made it to the finals, there is no way that I can play both. So right here in this very post, you can now submit which character you would like to send to the Rumble. If any of you have secret plans to debut a new character at the Rumble match, feel free to send me a PM with your choice.

Also! To deter people from being jerks and hiding and avoiding combat during the Rumble matches, we will be awarding superstar points for every elimination a character gets! Awesome right?! So keep track of what you do in your match!

Now, earlier I mentioned it will be Royal Rumble week. There will be no RAW, Smackdown, or Main Event from 1/21-1/25. This is to ensure that all matches get done and all booking makes sense. Because like the WWE Rumble ppv, there will be other matches on the card. (although not everyone will be booked)

One last piece of info: we will be posting the Royal Rumble card early and will be updating it as matches are created. This way people can start promo-ing now and building up their matches so things look cooler and more like actual WWE programming. Expect to see it up soon.

May I ask under this same thread what the rules are upon eliminating another in the Rumble? Can I just get people out as I "damn well please" or must I hit a finisher to eliminate them?

Also, the finishers are auto elimination.... When done correctly. Are those valid? Must we hit at least one finisher before an elimination?

Ban finisher eliminations..... Besides that, anything else goes.

I don't have a problem saying no finisher eliminations. That will prevent someone from just storing them and using them all at once to eliminate the remaining three people or whatever.

I have to agree with with prez. The over the top rope button press system was really good on 12. However this year they made it awful its practically an auto elimination as soon as its initiated. I say to be able to eliminate somone with a finisher, you have to hit 1 normal finisher first. Honestly I vote for banning the button eliminations and just having the fins, clothesline, and under the rope eliminations. Those seem like the fairest options to me.

Well. If you are going to insist on fins then fuck you, I want my button mash. I was the king of that on 12. I haven't had the chance to mess with that on 13 though.

Or make it like subs finisher hit 3 finishers in the match and your free to do what you want.

Just play the shit like you normally would. There's nothing wrong with anything goes.
