Match One Ken Shamrock vs Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston has been quiet, but his record is equal to that of WWE champion Dolph Ziggler. He hasn’t lost a match! Tonight he looks to continue the streak against Ken Shamrock who’s appearances have been rare as of late. Has Shamrock been practicing in his off time, or will he be yet another victim on The Wildcat’s win list?
Backstage Brawl Seemingly out of nowhere, Triple H and The Miz have assaulted Cody Rhodes backstage! What could have been a career ending beat down becomes a fair fight as a returning Sin Cara comes to the rescue of the Dashing One. How will this backstage brawl end and what consequences will these four men have to deal with?
Match Three R-Truth vs Antonio Cesaro
R-Truth….err Ron Killings has recently turned his back on the wCw Universe. He has a bad attitude and wants to hurt some people. Tonight he goes against Antonio Cesaro, the Swiss Miracle who is looking to cement his legacy in wCw by taking out more stars. It’s the clash of the baddies and only the most ruthless is going to prevail.
Match Four Ted Dibiase Jr. vs. Kane & Tensai
1 on 2 Handicap (No Tag) I’m not going to sugarcoat it. DiBiase is in deep shit. He screwed over Triple H at Anarchy and now he is “paying the price”. The boss lady gets what the boss lady wants and this young upstart has to find a way to beat the two most dominant giants on Smackdown. Hiding is not an option as if he fails to compete tonight Ted DiBiase Jr. will be suspended from Smackdown!.
Match Five Booker T vs. The Undertaker
The Phenom has had some interesting showings at Anarchy and Smackdown and many wonder what his true intentions are and how much longer he will be around if he can’t achieve his goals. Tonight he goes one on one with Booker T who had a rough showing last week on Smackdown when he lost to the monster Ryback. This could be a huge boost for Booker T’s career or it could serve to increase the momentum of the deadman.
Match Six Shawn Michaels vs. Drew McIntyre
Steel Cage Match (Pinfall Only) Christmas has come early for the Sinister Scotsman as he finally gets his match against the Heartbreak Kid. Will HBK be on top of his game this week after his devastating loss to Daniel Bryan at Anarchy? It’s the old versus the new, the legend against the rookie, and it will be a battle you won’t want to miss!
Main Event #1 Triple Threat match for the United States Championship
Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Sheamus vs. Ryback
Tonight's co main event of Smackdown! is huge. We have a triple threat match where Daniel Bryan puts his United States Championship on the line against the Celtic Warrior Sheamus, and the monster Ryback. This match is going to be explosive. Will it end by Daniel Bryan forcing one of these men to tap out and say “Yes! Yes! Yes!”, will Sheamus knock one of these competitors teeth down their throat with a Brogue Kick, or will the monster Ryback dish out an ass whooping and Shell Shock one of these two men to consume a United States Championship? We will find out tonight live on Smackdown!
Main Event #2 One on One match for the WWE Championship
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Brock Lesnar
Tonight we get to see Dolph Ziggler compete in his first title defense right here on Smackdown! He competes one on one with Stephanie McMahon’s golden boy Brawk Lesnar. Can Dolph continue to win after already reaching the light at the end of the tunnel? Has Brock Lesnar discovered the secret formula to take Dolph Ziggler down this time? It’s going to be a close match for sure with everything on the line.
