What was supposed to be a momentous first for WCW was marred by the disappearance of the former WCW Champion, The Undertaker. However, always willing to "Give the best damn show possible", the WCW Board of Directors ordered the match changed from a fatal 4 way to a Triple threat.
**FALL #1**
As Punk, HHH and the World & Intercontinental champion, Randy Orton, locked horns in the 1st fall, we saw a match worthy of main eventing any ppv ...in any promotion...anywhere in the world. Everyman gave it there all with GTS's, pedigrees and RKO's galore but after about 35 minutes...randy orton retained the WCW Intercontinental championship by outlasting both HHH & Punk when he nailed Triple H with a vicious RKO for the three count.
Winner of Fall #1 and Still wCw Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton.
**Fall #2**
After an exhausting first fall, all three men gear for the 2nd and final fall and this is for the richest prize in the business, the wCw Heavyweight Championship. Right from the get go, none these men could get the upperhand. Counters and Intelligent decisions were taking it's toll on the psychology of the match but then things turned ugly. Weapons upon Violent weapons became the objects of choice. Everything was used except for the proverbial kitchen sink. At one point, even the wCw Title belt was used as a weapon. However, unlike the first fall, Randy Orton would not be so lucky this time around. However, in the midst of a flurry of signature moves from all three men, Orton gets nailed with a pedigree from Triple H...only to have CM Punk come up from behind Triple H and deliver a massive GTS to "The Game" and garnering the winning pinfall and thus becoming the NEEEEEEEEW wCw Heavyweight Champion....CM PUNK!
Winner of Fall #2 and the NEEEEEEW wCw Heavyweight Champion, CM PUNK!
